center in fairfield is the hope home that offers housing and care for thousands of homeless veterans in need. to have individuals come out here do stuff like this we would not have the money nor the manpower to do it there is an incredible blessing to us.

reporter: a blessing for veterans that volunteers say is the leaves they can do. i wanted to bring myself my family out to really kind of give back to them for what they have done for us. reporter: what better timing than now.

not only putting down the floor, they paint, they are getting new flags of all the services that are in there. they are putting up ape brand new flat screen tv. it's a wonderful time for christmas for our veterans. what a wonderful thing to

do.
